About Dan Frost

I am Dan Frost. I have been writing code for about 15 years on things as diverse as boring old website to music manipulation and insane integration projects which glue bits of businesses together.

You can follow me on twitter @danfrost

When I started coding, no-one mentioned the HUGE amount of time I would have to spend debugging. No huge. Vast. Really big. In fact, it's most of the time. Most of the time you spend coding is debugging.

If it isn't most of the time, it's the part of the time which feels bigger.

And when I started debugging, I started collecting everything I could on how to do it better. Surely I'm not the first person to debug?

This little site is the collection of my notes on the subject of debugging. The techniques here are useful daily to me, to the extent that if you don't know these I really don't understand how you get through a day at work. You're probably using a few of the techniques already, but more techniques is always good when debugging.

My day job is as Technical Director of 3rd Eye Vision, a Digital Agency based in the UK, working worldwide with all kinds of exciting people. Everything in the site I use daily to help people who know what they want but can't work out how to get it.

I also write about cloud computing, IoT and other exciting things.

I hope this is at least a little bit useful for you.
